Church Services

Students have the opportunity to see the local church in action on a weekly basis. From the opening prayer to the invitation, the church services of West Gate Baptist Church emphasize the importance of proper worship, and are thus one of the most vital training tools at Florida Baptist College. A Missions Conference, Revivals, and many other great services are held annually to encourage the church members and expose them to great men of God that have been greatly used in the work of the ministry. For these reasons, and because many things about ministry are more caught than taught, students are required to attend all services of West Gate Baptist Church during their first two years at Florida Baptist College. Juniors and seniors may attend a like-minded, Independent Baptist church upon the approval of the administration. Students attending other churches are expected to be faithful to the services of that church.
