Student Ministry Major  

Student Ministry majors will be equipped with the understanding and proper philosophy of children’s and youth ministries and their role in the local New Testament church. Emphasis will be given to respecting and maintaining the authority of the pastor and the parents of students in every program and activity. This major will strongly focus on practical skills, such as lesson preparation, activity development, and student management. Students will be taught leadership, but will also be trained to be a team player and to be loyal to the pastor. As with all four-year majors, students will be instructed in every book of the Bible. Internship opportunities will also be provided.
