Secondary Education Major

This course study seeks to instill the proper Biblical philosophy of Christian education while equipping students with a general understanding of children’s learning abilities, effective methods of teaching, and classroom management skills. Each student will be required to obtain a proficiency in Mathematics, Bible, English, History, or Music. Through weekly practical classes students will also have the opportunity to exercise their skills and knowledge in a classroom setting. In addition, students will learn their role in the local church ministry, the importance of a daily walk with God, and the joy of being a soul-winner.
