Academic Load
The typical full-time student load is 12-18 credit hours per semester. The maximum allowable academic load is 21 hours. Only those students whose previous semester’s grade point average was at least 3.0 will be approved to take more than 18 hours. Students whose previous semester’s grade point average was less than 1.75 will be limited to a maximum of 14 credit hours the next semester.
A single student’s parents will be notified if the student is failing or withdrawing from a course. Students with consistently low grades or weak academic progress may be refused the privilege of re-enrolling.
