Students auditing courses without working towards a degree are classified as “non-degree students.”

Students taking less than 12 credit hours are classified as “part-time students.”

Students taking 12 or more credit hours are classified as “full-time students.”

Freshman students are those who have completed less than 31 credit hours.

Sophomore students are those who have completed at least 31 credit hours but less than 64 credit hours.

Junior students are those who have completed at least 64 credit hours but less than 95 credit hours.

Senior students are those who have completed at least 96 credit hours.
